June anniversary

I would just add to the June birthdays that Bonnie and I will observe (with detachment and equanimity) our thirtieth wedding anniversary on June 5. Mark and Lisa will follow soon after--I can't remember their date. Yes, 1976 really was thirty years ago. How did that happen? Leisure suits are still cool though.

June birthdays

Well, after spending an hour and a half on the phone with technical support from Insight, I am back!
First of all, I loved the pictures of Julia and wish I could have seen the recital. Did anyone think to video?
We had a great weekend with Karen and Allen. She sang so beautifully both Sun. at Federated and Sunday afternoon at University Place. Also Allen played some of his orignal work at Universtiy Place. What a talent!
We had a good weekend this past one with visits from Rob and children and then a visit with Steve and Mary and family.

Oh, yes, another bit of news-Steve, Mary and boys leave for a trip west on Wednesday of next week
It was great to have Sarah here ! We had dinner at Mike and Bonnie's. Had a delicious meal with Sarah's veggie spaghetti sauce.

There's a Dylan movie coming out!
The film, which was announced yesterday at Bob's 65th birthday, will have a slew of stars playing the famed singer during different times of his life. Including Cate Blanchett.
No, I am not making this up.

Julia's recital

Here are a few shots my dad took at Julia's dance recital. Max and my mom couldn't believe how old she looked. I guess it's been more gradual for me. This was her first ballet class and she loved it.

Pirates of Penzance!

Miles did a completely knock out job in his class' rendition of the Gilbert and Sullivan classic, The Pirates of Penzance!
He was dead on with all of his lines, with excellent timing and delivery. His voice was also sounding dang good.

I am serious, he was totally awesome.

Family News

I'll start with the good news! I took Dad to Dr. Harb today who said his last x-ray showed improvement! We were in the office 5 minutes at most after we waited 15 minutes to see him.
At least his magazines are up to date.
More good news! Steve was a guest speaker at Hanover College on his birthday. He spoke on politics of the 50's. Can't imagine what he could find to say about that topic.
Not so good news-Mark had another kidney stone attack on Friday and yesterday was hoping to pass the stone without going in for a stay in the hospital. Lisa was practically on her way to Terre Haute to see Susie get her master's but had to miss it. And Lisa, if you are reading this, Dad says you must be some professional if two schools are fighting over you. Hope you got that straightened out today one way or another.
Bonnie had a few sick days last week with a stomach virus and I hear today that Phillip has joined her. Hope all is well tonight.
Max, I could give you music suggestions, but then I'm just an old lady-what do I know!
One more item. Karen and Allen will be here on the 21st to present a program at University Place and Karen will sing in our church Sunday morning. Any and all are invited to come!

Music Problems!

I'm fed up musically. I have listened to everything I have 10,000 times exactly, and I can't take it anymore.
I trust the musical opinions of y'all more than anyone, so can anyone give me some recommendations?
