Paul and Matt and Acting

Paul and Matt were brilliant in the Maskrafters' production of David Ives' All in the Timing at Georgetown. This is a series of five one-act plays that are tied together with a thread of metaphsyical speculation about time; it's great intellectual slapstick. Paul co-starred with two other players in the first play; Matt co-starred with another player in the second, and Paul and Matt were the dominant characters in the hilarious last play. In it they were costumed in burlap togas and covered in real Kentucky mud; they played the unwitting builders of the Tower of Babel. It was a real pleasure to watch them play off each other with great comic inventiveness, much as occurs in the the kitchen of the Kentucky Eddys. Thanks for a great evening of theater--two actually, I went a second time!

Paul will be taking off in late June for a intensive six-week conservatory experience at the Atlantic Acting School which operates in conjunction with NYU. The program runs from June 28 to August 8. And it was Matt's 20th birthday, too. No longer a teenager--and not a minute too soon.
