Let it be known that I tried to reach my eldest brother on the date of his birth not once but thrice. Each time receiving a busy signal. Even tonight did I try but received the same. I insist on birthday credit for my efforts.

You're absolved! Our phone line is screwed up and has been since Tuesday. Now it looks like next week before we can get it straightened out!
Ummm...yeh, I tried to call too, but it was busy...yeh, that's right.
