Chicken Palace Is Occupied
The Eddy chickens have finally made the transition from our furnace room to luxurious Chicken Palace that we have prepared for them, sparing no expense. Having lived their entire lives either inside an eggshell or a box, I thought they might have some existential angst about being thrust into the great world, not knowing that it even existed. But it didn't seem to bother them; I'm hypothesizing that chickens are too dumb for existential angst--just a hunch. As you'll see in the videos they seem pretty collected through the whole move-in process.
How fast they grow up! It seems like on a few weeks ago they were cute, fuzzy little chicks. Oh, wait--it was just a few weeks ago!
Though they are still lacking individual names, Bonnie refers to them collectively as "sisters." This feminine bonding thing is a little unnerving. You can see a "moving day" video featuring Bonnie and the "sisters" here.

Can we call this a discussion of avian ennui?
Dang, it didn't take long for them to turn ugly. They're looking more like dinner every day.
Do they have their own private bath?
