Whoops...
Well, I bought a leatherman today, and, small boy instinct took over and I tried to cut a Crab apple. The result being: Two numbing shots (The shots that actually hurt), 3 stitches, a swollen finger, and I can't get it wet for 5-7 days. At least there was no amputation needed...

Miles, I don't know what a leatherman is, but I'm sorry about your finger anyway.
Mom, a Leatherman is a multi-tool, similar to a pocket knife but with more gizmos. It was the knife that did it. He got the stitches out today and it looks like everything is healed up nicely.
