Another winner!
Rumor has it (and Miles has confirmed it) that he won a first place in a forensic competition Saturday. I don't have details but congratulations ! May we have more deatils from the MI Eddys?

It's all true! Forensics, for those of you who don't know, is a special brand of public speaking (not at all connected to autopsies) where students compete in many different categories. Miles has been involved all through middle school. This time he competed in the Prose category, which meant he had to perform a piece 4-7 minutes long that came out of a book. He did The Telltale Heart (by Poe of course.) He is either a great actor or is actually murderously insane. The jury is still out.
Anyway, he was judged in three rounds and got perfect scores each time, tying for first place in the state with 56 kids competing in his category. Not too shabby!
Great Job Miles! I need to go back and read that story again now.
