How to Post Information on Talking Eds

Putting information onto this website is pretty easy. Read through these instructions and then try it. You can also print these instructions (see below).

1. Click on the orange Blogger logo in the upper left of this page or the "I Power Blogger" logo in the lower right. This will take you to the Blogger home page.


2. Sign in with your user name and password which you got when you registered. Click on "Sign in" and you will be moved to the "Dashboard" page.


3. Click on the green cross beneath "New Post." This will take you to the Posting page.


4. Type in a title. Then type in your post. If you want to see approximately what it will look like on the site, click on "Preview" in the upper left.


5. When you are finished, click on "Publish Post." You may then see a counter indicating that your post may take some time to upload.


6. A new screen will appear saying "Your blog published sucessfully." To see what it looks like on the website, click on "View Blog" in the right tab. If your new posting does not appear, click on the "Refresh" button on your browser's toolbar (it's the two curving arrows logo).


7. If anything is not to your liking, click on the Blogger logo again. At the Dashboard click on "Talking Eds." A list of blogs will appear; click on the one you want to change. Make the changes you want and hit "Publish" again.
