Egg Snob
The new generation of hens started laying late last week--after 23 weeks of doing nothing but eating! On Sunday I had occasion to fry up one store-bought and one fresh egg. Care to guess which is which? Hint: Look at the colors of the yolks.
I heard on NPR that there was an egg shortage in China and they started importing American eggs, but the Chinese didn't like them because they were pale and watery.
Seems I'm not the only egg snob.

Well, the one on the right looks like an apricot turned over and the one on the left looks like a blob of ---.so, which is which?
The more colorful yolk is the fresh one! We got some eggs from one of Chris's colleagues and ended up cooking them with store-bought eggs, too. The fresh ones are much tastier.
